Welcome to my little online world! I am a first grade teacher learning all about this great profession! I have just started this journey as a teacher and I am super excited to see where this will take me. I graduated from the oldest women's college in the United States, Salem College! I love my school and is a place I will always love. I was blessed enough to get hired right after graduation! I am in a little magic world! I work at a local Title I charter school meaning that I have little resources. It has been quite a journey, I have learned so much and I cannot wait to learn more!In my class I encourage reading 100% ! It is where the magic happens! I love make-believe stories since I was little, so of course I have a blast teaching writing and reading books in class! I have found my passion and I am currently loving my firsties! I was born and raised in Colombia - South America! Por lo cual hablo español perfectamente! :) I love teaching my regular class with a little spanish spice! I am a pinterestholic (not sure if that's a word) but I have built my secret empire on pinterest! I love crafting and traveling as well.
On June 24th my best friend and I said YES in front of God, our family and friends! We are so excited to start this journey together and can't wait to see what the future holds!
